Only 275 days left until Jazz Fest 2008!!
It's never too early to start thinking about Jazz Fest. Actually, I'm thinking about it from the minute I leave the Fairgrounds on Sunday evening. I am happy to say that my next New Orleans visit is now booked. I will be returning on August 29th, the two year anniversary of Katrina, for the second annual Instruments Have Come presentation ceremony. Last years event was one of the most emotional nights of the year. This years event will feature Marva Wright and her BMWs; Tip's Foundation Sunday Workshop Band feat. the Sunday Workshop Students with Johnny Vidacovich, Stanton Moore, Jeff Raines, Rob Mercurio, Michael Skinkus, Tony Dagradi and Theresa Anderson; Soul Rebels; and more TBA
